Bad Thing: I gave you somewhere around a dozen blank tapes, hoping you'd share your massive B&W Doctor Who collection with me. I also loaned you an episode of "The Stranger" and never got it back. Well, that's OK. If I really want to see it again, I'd rather have it on DVD anyway, and at that young age I really didn't have the ethical considerations about copying media that I do now. I admit I have mixed feelings about Doctor Who, given that the BBC "lost" so many episodes. I feel it a moral duty to make sure that never happens again.

Good Thing: You are smart and funny. Now, this might sound like two good things, but it's actually one. Stupid and funny people wind up being annoying in the long run, and smart but humorless people tend to be annoying as all hell. Being both smart and funny is a great combination.

P.S. - I stumbled across a trailer for Traumaturge while trying to find out how to acquire the Rupert Booth doctor who videos. I'm introducing Doctor Who to my fiancee one episode at a time. We're currently on "The Space Museum," but we'll buy Traumaturge somewhere after Timeflight and before Earthshock, assuming it's available.

Well, bad can be good, as now I work with DVD. :)
So that kind of tells me where I might know you from...
(not much, but I read your LJ bio enough to have a few ideas..)

And yes, Traumaturge is available, and if it's not, then I can easily fix you up.

My one problem with the BBC these days is that they aren't always releasing things in order, but the new B/W releases are infinitely better now.
(the remastering is some of the best and it looks like brand new TV)
