Sage hated the moments when she could remember things that she didn't want to.
Closing her eyes, wishing that the moment would pass, the images flashed before
her like a bad dream. She knew she had to ride out the wave, and it would soon
pass.

"How delightful our dear Tessa looks tonight, my dear Queen." Sebastian Shaw
turned to look at the newly arrived Emma Frost.
"Yes, she does look divine." Emma nodded an agreement. "Not that she
compares to your new Queen." She nodded to the stunning redhead on
Shaw's arm. The recently 'recruited' Jean Grey, smiled and nodded,
acknowledging the complement.
Tessa turned on her heel and headed for the door.
"If you'll excuse me, Lord and Ladies. I must excuse myself for a moment."
Shaw nodded. Tessa silently left the room.
"I must powder my nose as well." Emma heaved a sigh. "These days
are getting far too humid for my tastes."
Shaw grinned. "It will soon be getting hotter for our hated foes."
Emma laughed. "That it will."
She followed Tessa out of the room, catching up to her in the restroom nearby.
"Am I sensing a little jealousy, my dear?" Emma scanned the surface, sensing
something from the young woman.
"No, ma'am. Our new Queen is a beaut..." Emma placed her finger on Tessa's
lips.
"I'll have no talk of her now." Emma sat down on a nearby sofa. "For now,
let us talk... of us." she patted the spot next to her. "Come and service
your Queen."
Tessa moved over and sat down next to Emma. "What a pretty thing you are indeed."
She smiled. "And if Sebastian doesn't want you anymore, I can find
plenty of uses for you..." she reached over and pulled Tessa in close,
embracing her in a deep kiss.

Sage's eyes opened, finally glad that the memory had faded once again.
Though she was on the other side of the world from Emma, she could still
feel those fitted leather gloves holding her head.
She smiled, filing that memory away for another day.
