It's almost been a month since my last update. I'm quite ashamed of the fact that I can't even keep myself writing an entry every two weeks. I've thought about giving up on this blog countless times, yet I still come back and write about my normal life. I do have a few excuses for myself. My spring courses and new job has started as well as my position as VP Marketing for AIM. Nonetheless, here's my extremely late entry. (It'll be a little long.)
Curtis and I went out on a spring photo shoot in a local park in Calgary. None of the trees have really sprouted yet, which was a little disappointing. However, I did like how some of the photos turned out.
A little dreamy, isn't it?
We tried out Clive Burger, which wasn't too bad. I find too many burger/deli joints are very overpriced for what they're selling, especially in Canada.
Here's the majority of the purchases I've made in May. Since I started my new job this month, I've been giving myself some reasons for shopping. /____\ Firstly, a navy polka dot blazer from ZARA. This was a little bit of an impulsive purchase, but it's a good enough staple to keep in my wardrobe.
Right after I purchased my ZARA blazer, I also ordered this Earth music&ecology blazer that's been on my wishlist from last season. Also some other items from UNIQLO and ForeverXXI.
I also ordered a black peacoat with a leopard detail collar from ZOZOTOWN awhile back. Drives me crazy when cat hair gets all over it.
I haven't picked up a book in too long, but I've managed to get myself to start reading World War Z to prepare myself for upcoming film in June!
For the past few months, I've been wanting to dye my hair back to a darker color. So earlier this month, I bought a few boxes of light brown dye. Unfortunately, my hair color didn't change very much, but it is now a much ashier shade which I do like. I think I'll try again to dye it darker once the color starts fading.
And of course, my nails for the past month. Again, I've been focusing too much on just Instagraming the photos rather than getting out my camera to take a proper shot. Hope these photos look good enough to be posted here.
