Hellloo from Beijing. I have arrived safely after my 13 hours flight. I haven't visiting Beijing in April/May weather for about 10 years, so not use to this "cooler" climate! I won't be able to access Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and some other sites since I'm in China. I'll be going to Hong Kong & Macau this Saturday for a week. So excited to see Gabriel & Ivy there!!
Before I left, Gabriel, Anna and I went to drink high tea at the
Fairmont Palliser.
We sorta felt out of place because it was so expensive and high class, hahaha. But the food was quite good. I preferred the selection they had at the Banff Fairmont Hotel.
Chose earl grey tea, of course.
The weather in Calgary was supppeerr nice last week. So one day after lunch, we decided to sit on the grass and soak up some sun. Ryo said he didn't want to get tanned.........
Also went to watch Cabin in the Wood with Ryo. Everyone was saying it was good, so I thought why not. It was okay.....not THAT good. I paid to watch a horror movie, so I was expected a horror movie. Not comedy/horror.
The Japanese students left mostly this weekend. I only drove Anna & Ryo to the airport since my car is so goddamn small. Good thing all the suitcases fit in!! Before they left, we decided to go out for Brunch at
Cora. Even though I went to the high school right across the street, I've never been here. It was a pretty good experience. I think I'll go back and eat there again once I get back.
Miki & I. I look like a freaking alien with black roots. My nickname has officially become プリン since my hair color is basically like a pudding/purin. ;___; There were 12 of us, so we couldn't all fit at one table. Everyone else was behind us.
Anna & Gabriel. (L)
On the day they left, we went to eat
Sushi Boat for lunch. ALSO MY FIRST TIME THERE, even though I live 10 mins away. The service sucked, I wasn't too happy. They kept on getting our order wrong.
Good thing I'm on vacation, so it'll distract me from missing everyone that left. Seriously missing you guys so much, we'll see each other again some day. I don't know what school will be like next year.
