To Americans, and any observers of American culture:
Where do you think atheism will be in 10 years? 25? 50? Will we be winning against superstition or will it still be the minority position? I remember reading a comment that the reason the backlash against atheism is so intense is because Christianity is in it's death throes, but as a skeptic I doubt that claim.
