matt albie: I'M EATING IT!
here i am... about to go into hour 5 of my shift. and i think i may just fall asleep writing this. face planted in the keyboard. i've had an incredibly hard time falling asleep this week, not to mention that i've gotten up around 8am the last two days because i had to be awake while the floor guy and tv guy was there. and i didn't get to nap today cause i was running around making dinner and learning about the stuff that was installed and taking the dog to the vet. so i'm really excited to go to bed. not only because i'm tired, but because i haven't been able to sleep at night, so i'm excited to get to sleep with that little bit of light in my room. which is weird after coming off a semester where i taped my blinds to the wall so they wouldn't let the light in.
la stuff is progressing nicely. we got maps and stuff from aaa and got mom's flight booked. i talked to the roomies the other night:) and we worked out for the most part who's bringing what, so i've started to scavange through the basement to find stuff. and i've been talking to people either that live out there or have done the la program about stuff to bring or traveling to la tips. and i just made a semi detailed list of things to pack/find/buy. hopefully i'll be able to send out the stuff i need to ship like a week ish before i leave... just so i know it'll definatly have enough time to get there before i do. i'm nervous about leaving, especailly about leaving mom (even though she's been getting on my nerves). but i barely see her anymore cause of how much she works (and how much i sleep lol). so i think that's making me hesitant about leaving her. BUT, i am getting more and more excited:) i got to talk to jen the other day and i cant WAIT to see her and petau. i can't wait to hopefully be petau's intern:) I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE SCOTT!!!! i can't wait till i turn 21;) i can't wait till football season!!! (it has nothing to do with la, but once i get there, it's gonna be that much closer lol)
i've been in a big studio 60 kick, as well as a massive youtube kick. so tonight i combined my two recent loves. and can i just say that bradley whitford (danny tripp and some guy on the west wing)... is HYSTERICAL! like seriously, so funny.
so i plan on sleeping most of the day tomorrow. maybe even going to pine community day in the evening. sunday i'm hopefully gonna try to find some business ware at macy's with mom and i have a zone shift at night (which i hopefully will not forget about). who knows about next week. probably packing and tying up loose ends around the burgh. 15 days and counting till i start my journey across the country:)
