Science fiction... Double feature... Picture show...!
Sooo I went to the Rocky Horror Show in Negaunee with Mary last night. She was going to go with this girl, Jackie, that she knew from OUTLook, but Jackie accidentally double-booked herself for that night and forgot about her friends 21st birthday party. So she had to get rid of her ticket, and I bought it off her. So Mary and I both went and Jackie gave us a ride.. woohoo!
We walk in, a man in a frilly top, fishnets, and high heels take our tickets, and V's are written in lipstick on our foreheads - Rocky Horror virgins.
Some guy was going around - director, maybe? - making couples sign each other in embarassing places with lipstick. Like I'm PRETTY SURE the girl in front of us signed her boyfriend's penis. Another girl signed her boyfriend's ass.
AND THEN THE PLAY STARTED OMGGG. Yeah, just the play. But holy crap they did a wonderful job with it. The pre-show was awesome too. This guy, Alfred Keefer, looks like he could be related to Drew. I wonder if that was just a typo in the program? But he, dressed up as a devil pimp, and a girl, took audience members and made them eat a Twinkie as sexual as they can. He held his at his crotch and the girl stuck it in her cleavage. It was.. scary. o_o
Anyway, Rocky Horror wins. Matt's brother was Rocky.
I swear one of the actors (butler d00d) was in Hello, Dolly, that I watched last year. Actually I'm positive it was him because they both had terrific singing voices. :]
