busy busy
So I've been really busy lately with school and this photography class, taking pictures and junk. That's why i haven't submitted anything lately, but trust me, i've got tons of stuff still waiting in my documents to be submitted. Got tons of mail, and have been trying to keep up with that as well, commenting and junk, faving junk i like, so yeah. um.
Let's see, on Friday, i took some really great photographs with my new digital camera, but i won't be posting those until who knows when because i still have b&w photos to submit that i took last semester, so yeah. Um, we literally drove all around the valley on friday taking pictures for my assignment as well. Had to take 3 depth of field, 3 subject motion, 1 rule of thirds, 1 pattern in nature, 1 brightly colored building, 1 silouhette, and the rest sunny 16. I took them all, but i had a problem trying to take the silouhette/profile photograph. He gave us ideas how to take it, but i don't think i did it right because of the stupid glare, so I'm probably going to have to take some more of those tomorrow during sunset or something.
So yeah, I thought we could do something a little different that night, but it didn't work out as planned. I don't like the whole clubbing/drinking/dancing scene, but i thought we could do something different, like i said, and ride the mechanical bull and drink a little, but we really didn't want to go anymore after meeting Rosemary's annoying friend Tina. You had to be 21 and over to get into the Saddle Ranch anyway. But soon Rosemary made plans to go to an 18 and over club, but i quickly made an excuse to get us out of it. I knew we weren't going to enjoy a night of drinking and sitting around listening to stupid music with Tina! So to kill some time, Rosemary took us to some little Italian cafe on Ventura Blvd. and had some pistachio gelato before taking us back home. That was different. So Thom, Misha, and I had pizza for dinner and good conversation and Rosemary went to that stupid club with stupid Tina. Just hanging out and watching movies is our kind of fun. We don't like the nightlife, and on occasion, people! We should've had our usual movie night fridays in the first place! We hadn't done that in a long time because we've all been so busy lately with school and junk! But me with my crackpot ideas! Clubbing? Drinking? Dancing? Come on, what the hell was i thinking?
But Saturday was fun. Thom, Misha, and I went to some real cool thrift stores here in the valley and found some real cool stuff! Misha's obsessed with shoes and purses and she must have gotten at least 7 new purses! I found this really awesome black shirt with a white printing of a Geisha girl in the front, a book, and 3 VHS video cassettes. I think Thom went home with a pair of really tight pants and an AFI shirt! After that we came home and had some dinner and then went to Hollywood video and got some movies, which we didn't even watch because when we got home, we baked some brownies, had a couple of daquiries, and played some old skool Super Nintendo (Super Mario Bros.) It was fun!
