(no subject)
woww...so today Francey came over to use my wireless, high speed internet (which the Asian did yesterday--both times were super-awesome, and ultra-nerdy). Nothing out of the ordinary happened really..until she backed out of the driveway. Nothin' big, she just pulled a Krista.
For those of you not in the know, my driveway has an annoying end. The "speedbump" as it's been dubbed many times. Well, on the side of said "speed bump" there are huge blocks of concrete there to (I guess) guard-rail the car on the driveway. Krista went OVER the cement block and actually got the car stuck ON it. Long story short, it was hell to get off. And that's pulling a Krista.
Anyway, this time it was bad. Real bad. We had to resort to calling her parents for assistance--and I got Jim up. He needed to get pants on first, of course. Once the pants were fully applied, he headed outside and lit up a Salem UltraLight 100. We fought Ford Taurus vs. cinderblock for a good 20 minutes before summoning the Franceys. The problem was, the car was resting on the axel of the right rear tire. It made a scraping noise when the car moved. We made a road out of bricks though..it worked out.
