notes: kent parson basically struck me like a bolt of lightning. his arc is, tbh, the only reason i picked up check please! to begin with. him not being a main player in the comic is also, well, the reason i never gained much interest in check please! and stopped reading if he wasn't in the update.
i know there are a bunch of treatises going around on tumblr about kent parson and kent/jack's relationship. i... did not bother reading them. i will happily relax in my little kent/jack headcanon bubble; please to not try to pop said bubble. I LOVE KENT PARSON and his makeup/breakup relationship with jack hits so much of my fucking id, holy shit. it's the pairing i've wanted for ages but no one will provide. i've wanted to make a mix for this for a year and a half now, and finally found the last burst of inspiration to finish it.
