[Luke opens up his own Pokegear to see what's going on in Route, between doing things that children do on Christmas and taking care of his Nidoran and Shinx egg. At first he only catches the brief sound of future Luke's voice, causing him to do a double take as he glances down at the video screen.

Sure enough, there was future Luke. Unless the Pokegear was acting up or something strange was going on in Route again, he was pretty confidant that this was the real deal this time.

The boy grins widely.]

Nothing at all. To me, it was as though no time had passed at all. In fact, I may not have even returned to London at all.
