Still, I will admit that it was a troubling predicament-- and somehow, I don't believe we've heard the end of those strange creatures that appeared those nights ( Read more... )

I see. Anything you could tell me on the subject would be extremely useful, especially if you know of any way I could acquire a Pokemon egg.

[don't judge DITTO, it's just very aware of what dittos are for]

It's called a Ditto. It's pink and really really cute.

[ ... the image of a ditto breeding was always just do not want, though. he wonders about this bit of information, and looks up "ditto" in his pokedex-- as he suspected, it's something he's never seen before. proof that this girl isn't the flora he's travelling with-- but he won't bring that up for now. ]

My Pokedex tells me that it's a morphing Pokemon. Would you happen to know what sort of Pokemon with which your Ditto has mated?

Probably just something local.

May I ask why you would like an egg so much?

Then nothing out of the ordinary. It most likely found itself a wild pidgey, depending on where you are.

To raise different types, of course. I don't imagine that catching a run-of-the-mill Pokemon in the wild could ever measure up to one that has been particularly bred.

[ ... mostly the truth. ]

I don't think I'll mind if it's a pidgey. HEH HEH JUST KIDDING. As if I'd keep a stupid egg!

Also, what's with that snobby attitude?

Wow, that's a good point!

Perhaps not, but you could end up with several pidgey, if your Pokemon continues to breed without your consent. That's quite a responsibility for a young lady like yourself.
