Still, I will admit that it was a troubling predicament-- and somehow, I don't believe we've heard the end of those strange creatures that appeared those nights

Back where I come from, this world was a part of a video game, and my friends constantly complained about a glitch that caused static-like creatures called Missingno. to appear -- precisely, the thing that happened here this past weekend.

I'm not sure how this occurred, but I think it may be safe to assume that those are similar situations... just. I like to think that we were not warped into the world of a video game.

Yes, I keep hearing about these "video games" myself. I'm afraid that it's the most feasible explanation for this world and everything that's happened so far, though I'm still suspicious about this whole predicament.

I suppose that can't be helped, though. This world is quite the puzzle.

Perhaps, all we can do for the time being is learn to tolerate the crises and enjoy small blessings. I'm sure there will be a way out and back home one day.

It came as a surprise to me as well, though by this point, it just seems like another of this world's quirks.

It's-- nice to meet you, Luke. My name is Miles Edgeworth.[Don't mind his lack of enthusiasm. He's trying to make sure he doesn't lose his sense of Earthly reality.]

I met him when I first arrived in this world. I haven't been able to speak to him since, but he was a very kind person.

I see. You're right about that-- I myself have always been fond of the professor. It's nice to see him again.

Luke had said he was a former apprentice, but hadn't he kept in touch with the professor afterwards? He's curious, but in case it's a touchy subject, Edgeworth stays silent.]

He is, isn't he? I heard he's in Violet City, now... I was in the Pokémon Center during the weekend, because a companion of mine told me to stay inside, so I haven't been able to see him around..

Yes, we're travelling together, along with several other people from my world. We've been in Violet City for some time now.

Remaining in the Pokemon Centre was probably the best decision after what happened, in any case.
