It has been a while since I've updated,,so here goes. I do hope the new year is being kind to everyone thus far. We old folks are doing well. In Feb. we became guardians to 2 baby squirrels. They were approximately 3-weeks old,very little hair,eyes still closed-a boy and girl. We immediately named them Ray & Fay and started feeding them with an eye dropper.They have done very well. We turned them out about 6 weeks ago. Ray comes around but has grown "skiddish". However,Fay comes every evening, climbs up my arm and sits on my shoulder and eats pecans,peanuts,etc. If I have been perspiring, she'll also lick the sweat off of me,(she really likes the salty taste we've decided)! We can usually call her out of the trees,off of the roof, etc. So we are surely enjoying this phase of our lives. Everyone should try it. There's nothing like animals for enjoyment,especially when you raise them from the very beginning. We've done this with various types of farm animals, and truly enjoyed it. Since this is such a long post, I shall stop for now and make another entry later. You all take care, you hear?
