And finally, the next chapter...

Gam Grig and Dahn are walking the street after the most recent zombie sweep. The zombie ranks were thin, and there weren't many zombies left to be slaying, just one every so often, and our heroes couldn't understand why the hell gray lady hadn't sent them home.
Grig sighed as he took a drag off his cigarette and then exhaled, "I can't understand why the hell gray lady hasn't sent us home yet. I mean, damn, there's like three zombies left in this damn world, meanwhile demonic you is tearing the shit out of our homeworld."
"Thanks for the reminder that demon me is killing people Grig," Gam replied, "I really hadn't beat myself up about it enou- Aghhh! AGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Gam cried out in pain!
"What's going on Gam?" Dahnianna asked, "What's going on?"
Gam shook his head and cried out, "Can't you guys hear that?"
"Hear what?" Grig asked.
"Follow me! I'm gonna find it!" Gam took off running in the direction that the shrill noise that apparently only he could hear was emerging from. After twisting and turning through a few streets and alleys Gam came to a door on a building, and he leaned against it, and just as Grig and Dahnianna caught up, Gam kicked it open.
"Where is it?" Gam cried out.
"Gam," Grig replied, "There's nothing in here. This room is empty."
"NO!" Gam cried out, "here!" Gam pointed to a spot on the wall.
Dahnianna and Grig looked at each other and Grig punched the wall as Dahn spun around and kicked the wall at the base. The wall collapsed to reveal an elevator. Grig drug Gam into the elevator and pressed the only button on the console.
The elevator reached a lower floor and the doors opened. Gam straightened up.
"Are you okay?" Dahnianna asked.
Gam stood up and said, "Yeah, I am now. I don't know what's going on, but something in this room was calling to me."
"Well," Grig said while cracking his knuckles, "Let's check it out."

Back on the homeworld, the bunker was full. Ripper was sleeping on a couch, Liadan was floating in the air meditating, and Paladin and Velis were looking through files on the computer console, trying to find something to use against the demonic-Gam. All of a sudden a window popped up.
"It's a message from Archangel," Paladin said. They opened it. "Hmmm." Velis said, " Apparently the demon's name is Belthor. Pretty powerful. Apparently he can't be killed."
Paladin stretched out and lit up a smoke, "That's just fucking great. Can't be killed. Just what we need. Want to patrol again, I think the demon bred again so numbers are up."
Velis pulled his mask back on and shook Ripper while saying, "Yeah, way up. We haven't been making much headway at all."

Back in the zombie world, Gambit, Dahnianna, and Grigori wandered around the hidden room, looking at the various artifacts in glass cases.
"Here," Gam said, stopping in front of a glass case in the corner. "This is it."
Dahn and Grig came over and looked at the artifact, which looked like a spherical tube carved out of quartz.
"The case is alarmed Gam, can you get around the security?" Grig asked.
Gam nodded and then smashed the case with an escrima.
"Silent alarm Grig," Gam said as he pulled the item out of the case and handed it to Grig. "Put this in your bag, would you bro?"
"Sure," Grig replied, "But what is it?"
"It is a halo." said a voice from behind our trio. They turned around, and there was the gray lady, looking rather tired and gaunt.
"A halo?" Dahnianna asked.
"Yes. There are a few that exist in every world in the multiverse. This is the only one in the planes around your world that still exists."
"So," Gam said, "Why not just give us the one on our world?"
"Because child," gray lady replied, "the two that were on your world were destroyed. The first was found by Nazi's during the Holocaust, and was destroyed when they tried to activate its power."
"And the second?" Grig asked.
"Some students found it in 1972 and they... They smoked it."
Gam's jaw hit the floor in a Loony Tunes moment. "They smoked it?"
"Yes Gam. It was the seventies."
Dahnianna cocked her head and asked, "So what happened?"
"Well, they grew powerful, gained super-powers, and eventually were claimed by the Boogyman."
Dahnianna looked over at Gam who said, "Yeah D, the Boogyman is real."
She shook her head and asked, "how do you know?"
Gray lady laughed and said, "Because he fought the Boogyman once. He won, but only because the Boogyman allowed him to..." Gray lady faltered, breathed heavily, and continued on a different note. "I'm dying. But my last act will be to send you home. Please, honor a dying woman's last request... Kick that demon's ass all over your plane of existence!"

And there was a flash of light and the three landed in the middle of central park, with a bit of a crash. And then they stood up, realizing that they're surrounded by demons. "Oh hell no!" Gam cried out. "Start moving!" Grig cracked his knuckles and started advancing on a demon before Gam and Dahnianna lasso'd him and drug him along too.

The demon's were advancing and about to over take them when they reached the entrance to the bunker, which was thrown open as Ripper, Velis, and Paladin were about to leave and go on patrol. They stood their stunned as the saw Grig, Gam, and Dahn run past them into the bunker, slamming the door.

They turned around and looked at their newly returned friends. Gam stepped forward, as everyone started crowding around, and said, "I've had it with these mother fucking demons on this mother fucking plane... of existence. And I think it's about time that we end this."
