set up: 16 round brush. thick paper. tape down corners if not thick. disposable plastic lid palaete

mask foreground objecst or figures

do sky/ background with wash

dry

do background distnat objects: buildings/trees

dry

deveop dististant objects with detail (dark colours and lights?)

rub off masking and do foreground

Dry
Water/distance:

"I then tackled the river simply by wetting the whole of the area with clean water, before laying in horizontal strokes of the sky colours, keeping it pale in the distance, with the strongest colours closest, creating the illusion of distance."
