why is society?

Does everyone fancy themselves Sabina? All dressed up in you, or all dressed down bar one top hat, and happiest when free or fleeing. And maybe the lightness of being eventually proves unbearable but the tedium of social entrapment and no longer being but playing - playing the role of Sabina when the affair goes public - oh too awful, and then narrative is called for: motives, explanations, justifications when all it or anything ever was was - nothing.

I'm toying again with the idea of transferring back to Sydney for the last two years. Why, when hiccups occur, is my first instinct to simply leave? I'm not afraid of confrontation nor isolation - but having to play at confrontation and play at isolation - oh how boring.

I would have been a gypsy if I didn't so love hot water.
