i am resenting a position that is past resentment
yayy. okay, so yesterday aram (the horse i usually ride in stonington) was getting shoes. it made me sad. especially when i saw who i was riding -- this appaloosa pony named Molly who's new to the barn. when my instructor handed me a crop...oh god i was thinking "annoying slow pony." and abby told me how they'd just got her from this lady who weighed 300 pounds and that molly would just stop when the lady asked her to trot/canter etc. so then i felt bad for her. and awww i was shocked because SHE WAS SO MUCH FUN! i mean she walks suppper slow at her "normal" pace but she responds really well to commands and cantered right away (though you do have to keep her up there) and abby was surprised and said i was doing really well with her and that molly was being really good and we did just a couple jumps and then TODAY. we did a little warm up then she set up this jump course and we did a bunch of times at trot / trot-canter mix / then all canter and molly was soo good and she does all her little flying lead changes and i usually never like appaloosa's but she has these little brown ears (not like hannah though. eww) and she's just adorable. she would make such a good little event pony. i mean for someone younger, i bet i look too big on her but ooh.

i'm excited for camp!!! i'm so jealous of you, though maggie. i mean the camp ponies are good...but they are camp ponies ya know? and you get to escape them (the bad ones) and ride this cute little connemara!!! aren't you, like, ecstatic?
