The Bennet Legacy 1.0
"I’ve been super stressed lately and craving some stress-free simming - so I’ve decided to start a legacy. I’ve done several legacies in the past but usually gave up or got distracted part way in. I make no promises this time around, but I’m looking forward to just playing the game, without plotbunnies, cheats, or posing. I will still be working on my other projects but this will be a way for me to just chill out and do some old-fashioned simming. Hope you will enjoy following along!"
That was the intro I've already posted on Tumblr. I have been posting the updates in bits and pieces there but the format just isn't working for me. I guess I'm too used to good old LJ, and I'd like to keep everything in one place without cluttering up my Tumblr! So here you have a first proper update, all in one place. :)
Meet my founder: Tessa Bennet! She is a Family sim with a thing for fit, hard-working men and her dearest wish is to reach the top of the Law Enforcement career.

She also happens to be an elf. ;)
If I were to indulge the plotbunnies, I would hint that she is running from a troubled past and is anxious to make a new start in life…

I based the layout on an old lot by w-sims because I was feeling unoriginal and layouts are my downfall.
As you can see, both Tessa and I like purple. :P
The VERY first sim to arrive on Tessa's lot was this swoon-worthy guy from the Garden Society. Not only does he have two bolts with Tessa despite not filling any of her turn-ons, but he's also a RED HEAD. *evil laugh*
To add to that magical combo:
*single tear* I HAVE NEVER SEEN A MORE BEAUTIFUL SIM IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.
(Unfortunately, his name is Caddy Lawless. I'm not joking. Note to self: look into different naming defaults >_>)
That night Tessa refrained from making her move (she just wanted to become besties with the guy), but he left some fireflies to light up her evening. <3
The next day or so, ACR brought the lovebirds together again. Dare I say sparks, or rather little pink hearts, flew?
Since I'm not using cheats *heavy sigh*, Tessa got a job in the Medical field will waiting for a position in Law Enforcement to open up. At least it pays well!

Tessa did very well in the Medical track, but it was not her dream job.
FINALLY. I am so spoiled after playing with cheats for so long...

(Btw, I really love how in some of these pictures it appears that Tessa is taller than Caddy. I just adore the idea of the elfin warrior lady with her short little fiery-haired prince! ;)
