What does this say?
Today at work one of my staffers called me to share a part of a "letter" she received.
The letter is a 15-20 page diatribe from a bipolar alcoholic. (That's completely true, no exaggeration or speculation). It was mostly a rant about how he might seem simple-minded because he has little to no tolerance for stupidity or incompetence. He commented that the sad reality is that if you were to swing a dead cat over your head, you'd end up hitting 10-12 people that he couldn't deal with.
I had to read on. And man, the fucking guy was dead on in his observations about people in general. At least dead-on in my mind. The guy was actually a damn good writer.
So, is it really fucked up that some of the wisest words I've heard in quite some time came today from a bipolar alcoholic?
