Joy to the world, barbie's dead
I got my acceptance letter today from Bowling Green! yay! I kinda knew I'd get in, but its still exciting. So I should really get around to applying to those other schools.....lol
My spanish teacher had her baby, 3 weeks early, on the day we were planning to throw her a surprise baby shower. Seriously, she couldn't wait one more day? But I saw pictures of it and its sooo cute! Its a girl, Allison Frances. yeah, ugly middle name. Oh well. The sub we have isn't very good, but I think that's juts because she's just out of college and never taught a class before. I feel kinda bad for her, not everybody's being very good in class.
I really hate gatting ready for Christmas before thankesgiving, but I just can't help it this year! I'm actually excited about Chrismas already. Fun stuff. It just can't come soon enough.
I think, if I had wrote this last week, I would have a lot more bitching to do about the election, but at this point, all I have to say is that I can't believe the number of close minded republicans there are at my school. While I may not agree with you, I can generally respect anyone who has some political beleifs, provided they can back them up. But the number of people who were genuinly shocked that other people don't like Bush, and then told me that I was unamerican, or not a christian, or trying to kill off all the me in our country......it was horrible. I know its a white rural school, in a republican part of the state, but really people. THERE IS LIFE OUTSIDE OF MONROE, AND IT IS NOT THE SAME AS YOURS. GET OVER IT.
