The New Series
After a two-year absence, it took the new series to lure me back on here and finally make a new entry. I can't say how I feel about it because I don't really know. I remember when I'd first heard about a reboot awhile ago and I was vehemently against it. And then when I saw the first preview I was still vehemently against it. And I still don't like the fact that this series even exists. Maybe it's because I love the '87 and '03 ones so damn much, I feel like my heart doesn't have room for another (I'm only half-serious).
I guess I'm afraid because it is aimed more towards kids, that they're going to make my beloved turtles goofy and silly. My worst fear was characterization. I've been petrified that they're going to be OOC. So far, it hasn't been so bad that I want to choke someone but it's still early. I don't know what to think so far but I do know that I would have rather there been no sort of reboot whatsoever. Why? I don't know. I'm just not very open-minded I guess. I think I'm too protective of these characters.
