oh my god, i got the cd i ordered from amazon in the mail, and listening to this allegri miserere is bringing tears to my eyes. it's one of the most beautiful things i've ever heard. it's just one of those things that makes my heart ache to listen to.
my mom said my dad's friend is probably going to pass away tonight and that he had gone to say goodbye to her. when i saw him i could tell he had been crying, and i hate seeing my dad cry. it just tears me apart inside. but when everyone came over to watch desperate housewives, i think he needed that. because he seemed to be cheered up at least momentarily. i know he is going to feel broken for a while. it's nice to see him smile though.
on a lighter note, i had a blast at the dance/last night. it was great. i am liking the lack of tension between people in our class this year. it's just really chill and comfortable. i think this year is going to be great.
