the giants game
AHHH singing the national anthem at the game tonight was freaking awesome. first of all, we had to run all the way around the stadium to get to where we were lined up. then we got a call for 5 minutes and got into position.
me, amanda, and haley were right at the front, so we went out onto the field first and lined up in front of the microphones, and the rockies and the giants were just there stretching next to us. it was trippy. we sounded awesome.
then we went on a quest for giant hot dogs, big ol cokes and garlic fries...because that's the american thing to do. the lady at the hotdog place found out that we had sung the national anthem and she was like "oh no we missed it! that must have been off da hook!" haha it was great.
then we went up to the healdsburg section which also happened to be the nose bleed section. it was pretty awesome though...discounting the part where i'm terrified of heights. but anyway, everyone was there and it was awesome. except it was really annoying that barry struck out twice and walked twice. winn made a homerun though which was really excited and JOANNA MISSED IT! you freaking losers! you could have gone on the slide anytime and you chose that time.
yeah it was just awesome all together. so much fun. especially because all our friends were there.
now i just got home and i'm kind of weirded out because the only cars at my house are julie's car and my dad's truck. what the hell? it's midnight...where the hell is my mom's van and why is julie's car here? she is at college. doesn't make sense. anyway..
i have hecka chemistry and trig homework due tomorrow. luckily i don't have a first period...so i'll just have to wake up early. damnit. oh well. better go to bed. i think i lost my voice.
oh yeah, and, by the way...we won. giants 10 rockies 6. mwahahhaa.
