My favorite things that David Tennant has ever done (not counting DW) #2, #3, & #5*
#2: Radio series: Double Income No Kids Yet, starring David Tennant and Elizabeth Carling (2001, 2002)
synopsis: Basically, Daniel (David Tennant) and Lucy (Elizabeth Carling) are married. And adorable. And hilarious. Their friends and family are also hilarious -- and utterly insane. Sorry, with no summaries of the series to be found, you'll have to deal with my crap one.
comments: Someday they will re-air series 3 and I will be a very, very happy fangirl. This series is hilarious and wonderfully written and acted. David and Elizabeth have excellent chemistry together, which is quite a feat considering it's all portrayed using just their voices. If you only download one thing in this post, download series one of this brilliant, brilliant show.

#3: Audiobook: Christopher Brookmyre's Quite Ugly One Morning, as read by David Tennant (2004)
synopsis: Yeah, yeah, the usual. A crime. A corpse. A killer. Heard it. Except this stiff happens to be a Ponsonby, scion of a venerable Edinburgh medical clan, and the manner of his death speaks of unspeakable things. Why is the body displayed like a slice of beef? How come his hands are digitally challenged? And if it's not the corpse, what is that awful smell? A post-Thatcherite nightmare of frightening plausibility, QUITE UGLY ONE MORNING is a wickedly entertaining and vivacious thriller, full of acerbic wit, cracking dialogue and villains both reputed and shell-suited.
comments: I love the book, its characters, its style, its plot, and I absolutely adore David's reading of it. I love how he does audiobooks, and he's fantastic at differentiating between characters with his voice. It's probably not the best thing if you have a weak stomach, though, as it does get quite graphic in parts.

#5: Audiobook: Jacqueline Rayner's Doctor Who: The Stone Rose, as read by David Tennant (2006)
synopsis: Mickey is startled to find a statue of Rose in a museum - a statue that is 2,000 years old. The Doctor realizes that this means the TARDIS will shortly take them to Ancient Rome, but when it does, he and Rose soon have more on their minds than sculpture. While the Doctor searches for a missing boy, Rose befriends a girl who claims to know the future. But then the Doctor stumbles on the hideous truth behind the statue of Rose- and Rose herself learns that you have to be very careful what you wish for...
comments: Shippy as all hell and totally canon in my not so humble opinion. That David is the one narrating the tale makes it all the better. His "I was inspired" makes me squee like the completely pathetic fangirl that I am.

* #1 and #4 are Casanova and Blackpool, respectively. Those would take a bit too long to upload and besides, they can be easily found elsewhere.
