Life and death (in brief)
Update on mom: The "abnormal tissue" noted on her X-Ray was just pneumonia, which the CT showed to be in both lungs. There's no way it is cancer because if it were, she would basically be incapable of breathing on her own. So, everything good. (It's funny that after cancer, everything other than that prognosis counts as good, even double pneumonia, which can kill you.)
The defriending can commence now: I'm sorry, but I'm quite disturbed by all the rejoicing over Jerry Falwell's death. I think the guy was a repulsive bigot, and I'm definitely not shedding any tears over his passing, but for fuck's sake -- he was human being, with people who loved him. Celebrating anyone's death, even that of an asshole like Falwell, is just sick.
