It never ends (until it does)

I wasn't going to post about this until we knew more, but I really need to say something.

Long story short: My mom has pneumonia. She came down with it as soon as we got to Vancouver. She only left the hotel room once while we were there (we took a drive and had lunch in Stanley Park, and visited the aquarium), and she really shouldn't have done even that. She was so sick while we were there, had a fever of 102, and was breathing exactly like she did after her surgeries. I really wanted to take her to the hospital, but she wouldn't go. The Tuesday after we got back, she went to urgent care as her GP is currently on maternity leave. They did a an X-Ray which confirmed that she had pneumonia in her left lung, so she is currently on antibiotics for that and she's definitely getting better. The X-Ray report also noted "abnormal tissue," so she had a CT on Thursday. We're going to visit her pulmonologist tomorrow, and we'll get the results of that scan then.

So, yes, good thoughts/vibes/prayers would be very nice.
