I couldn't watch House and Stacy in the hotel room. Because, hello, Wilson was right -- this isn't going to end well for anyone. We all know this, and would still know this even if the synopsis for the next episode didn't tell us what's going to happen. And while I love the idea of Stacy and like Sela Ward as an actress, the lack of chemistry between the characters makes any romantic interaction extremely awkward. It's kinda strange 'cause I thought they had decent chemistry in the first two episodes she appeared, and usually that's something that only grows.
Apparently, Wilson's the nonthreatening and sympathetic gay guy that women run to when they're having a rough time -- and from the look of things, he was totally faking the sympathy here. That little hand and shaking of the head thingy? So forced. And he looked quite bored, so I'm really not buying that "ooh, Wilson, you cad!" interpretation that I've seen others mention. I see it as him just being too nice to make up an excuse to leave. And you know the real reason that he wanted to stay on the phone with House was to avoid crying nurse woman for just a little longer.
(And, yes, I of course loved House's "Hey, honey, how's the kids?" when he called Wilson, and later, Wilson's prissy tone about House's dead cell. I adored Cameron tonight, too.)
Also, in 'when fandoms collide' news: Dude,
Julie Warner (who played Meghan O'Hara on Nip/Tuck) guest stars in the next ep! That's awesome!
