Oportunity: taken or squandered?
I've got another opportunity to change. It's occurred to me that I've had a number of experiences in my life that a lot of people would consider rather extraordinary and potentially life changing. So far, I've kind of taken them in stride. France in high school. England for college and a year of travelling. Moving to New Hampshire and Boston. Traveling to Yugoslavia. The Philippines. Kayla and the three year adoption odessey. And now Guatemala. Not to mention OKC and Chicago and I'm sure a number of other things I don't even remember right now. That's a pretty incredible life really. And I think I've been way too laissez faire about it.
