Chocolate Shake...
Ok... what a weekend. Last time I updated was... Friday? Yea. Ok so yesterday was Saturday. Friday night I went to the Beatles cover band and it was awesome... though I'm sure not as awesome as the Virus/Unseen show that I had to miss. Oh well. I got to hang out with Sam and the Nevins again. It made me nostalgic of the old days when our families were inseparable. Yesterday I woke up and did my essay - the only real homework I had over vacation. It sucked, but now its done and I got to enjoy my weekend. I went to practice at 4 and we got our shit down. Then Sam stopped in and we all headed for Nick's for a pre-show partay, if you can even call it that. Mau-Maus came too and we got to meet her friend John Burke and her brother (who is the fucking man!). Louie Louie.
Anyway, we got to Nick's and went upstairs... It was fun. We just hung out and shit. Max came over, but I was asleep by then. This morning, we got up and me and Sam went downtown from Nick's. We saw Mau-maus, Mason and some extremely gay kid that made good Hot Chocolates at Starbucks. Good times. Anyway, I went to Johnnies, got candy for breakfast, then went back to Nicks. Moments later, Greg showed up, Nick had his breakfast of champions, and Alex gave us a lift to the T after picking up Chris. We took the T to the All Asia and met up with Danny Baldwin on the way. We got to Cambridge and went to the All Asia. We went on about half and hour later. To say the least, we fucked up our intro, which was a rendition of Conflict's "The Guilt and the Glory". We got it down and re-played it and everything else was pretty much flawless. I didnt think so at the time, but I just watched a tape of us playing, and we were fucking awesome. We played our Intro, Present Day, Winner, Terrorist Attack, Stalingrad, Small Commerce, What's Your Next Plan, The End is Near, and Conflict's This is the ALF. At the show was Mass Genocide, Androstine, Menace Mike, Sam, Vlad, Karen from the Hymen Maneuver, Francesca, Danielle, Susan, Iggy, some drunk guy named Nicotine that kept getting kicked out for being out of control, Danny, Paige, Zoe, Mike N, Mr. N, Gina, and many others. It was a great show.
After the show, me, Sam, and Nick met up with Fran Sue and Dan and went back on the T. I ate at the Nevin's house and watched videos of today's show. Now I'm at home, drinking a chocolate shake and reading the manule (sp?) to my camera.
