Prey Veng
I am now in Prey Veng, the provincial capital of Prey Veng province. Quaint little town with nothing to do and I am one of three foreigners I have seen thus far. I am teaching public speaking, 7 hours a day for two weekends in a row. During the week, I will return to Kamchay Mear and work on my biodiesel project.
The Return to Forever is reuniting after 25 years and they are playing in Portland on my birthday. I will save money and see them play on the 8th in Seattle. If anyone wants to come, holler, I want a lot of people to go. I will spend at least $75 on a ticket to get as close as possible, but for $379 (which I might be able to swing) I can sit in the front three rows, go to a pre-party and meet the band. I think I will pay $75.
If anyone has quality recording equipment, I would like to borrow it so I can tape the show.
