Current thoughts exclude Schizophrenia (or subtypes) as a possibility. It seems like a mixture or specific of Schizoid and Asperger's is much more likely, with other possible comorbid complications.
Something that seems to confuse the professional(s) is that despite an understanding of difference, I do not see purpose to "treatment" for any "symptoms" I might have--I'm pretty much fine as I am. Why is it necessary for [them] to attempt to "fix" everything when the only thing being asked is for information?
