Valentines Day
So my valentines day started off with me being really itchy. I wasn't sure why, but I was. Later in the day, around 1:15pm. I noticed that I was developing hives on my arms. I went in the bathroom to discover that I had hives all up my back. I went to the Health Care Center (basically school nurse lol) and they refered me to an Urgent Care Center, a division of St. Ann's Hospital. My insurance didn't go there so I had to go to another place. Anyway, after the 45 minute wait, the hives had now covered my face, neck, back, arms, top of head, ears, waist, and legs. I had to be hooked up to an EKG and then had my heart rate monitored due to the shortness of breath. I got two shots, passed out for an hour and a half and found out that it was due to the pain medication I was taking due to the pulled muscle in my leg. Now I can't take that medication and now I am on Tylenol with codine, Benedryll, Claritin, and a steroid pack. So ya. In addition to everything else going on, I had a great Valentines Day, complete without a valentine. I hope that this was the balance to the wonderful day that I hope everyone had :). I miss you all terribly. I hope to see alot of you on spring break. Mine is March 16 - April 3.
