Out With The Old
So maybe this isn't such a big deal to most people; maybe many of you have very fluid lives, but I doubt it. I'm finally going back to Skyline after a very long break. This time around I'm going for Sociology and Psychology. Those are things I am actually interested in, unlike Journalism which just happened to be what a couple of my Heroes were into.
But back to the point, it feels like I am graduating from something. Like, moving on with things. It doesn't surprise me too much, having been doing the same old thing for what will be exactly 3 years pretty soon. I honestly hope the break-up/going back to school combo keeps the forward momentum going. I would love to move back out again. Maybe even move out of state! For real this time! I would really like to reconnect with my family back in Utah, who have done a far better job staying in touch with me than I have with them (sorry!), but I've also been teasing my friends up north with my return for years now, and it'd be nice to make good on it.
But hey, if things don't work out and I fall back into the same routine of wake up, work, come home, watch movies with the cat, go to bed, well, that wouldn't be TOO horrible.
