(no subject)
I had a dream about riding motorcycles last night. Then I woke up and discovered I was still alive. Haha. I also discovered that when I worked until 10:30 last night, I not only missed Red Lights at the dwelling (who are good, but I could do without) but I also missed DIVISION DAY who I've been wanting to see FOR EVER. I can't even download their album. I'm gonna have to BUY it. Oh NO!
Basically I have been working a ton, and not doing much of anything fun. I'm about to head back to work (yes, on saturday) because I have Rec Review coming up. And because my boss is completely unreasonable. But that's besides the point. In any case, I was working last night because a) it needed to get done and because b) there was a concert at the rec center, and having people back there makes working so much easier. The downside of course was that the bands were the fuckups, skindred and PAPA ROACH. Huge douchebags EVERYWHERE. But the cool part was the promoter set up his hq in my office, so I talked to him a bit. I had Saosin and he told me I was pronouncing it COMPLETELY wrong, told me he'd done a couple shows they played at and occasionally he did shows with Anthony Green's new band circa survive. I burned him Frances the Mute and Thee Michelle Gun Elephant, and some other random shit, and talked to him about silkscreening. We swapped cards and he might have work for me! How dope is that!! I just have to figure out an hourly rate and some work in the style that I think he'd want. But yeah, how fucking cool?!?!?
Ok back to the Rec Center. Sucks.
