When I first saw the video of this person being interrogated by the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), the first thing I thought was that someone from the SSU had deliberately leaked the video in order to save this person, to draw attention to him. After all, only the obviously innocent can give such frank answers. And by drawing attention to him online, a "well-wisher" from the SSU would give him a chance to be saved. Judge for yourself (the interrogation is in Ukrainian, I translated it into Russian and then into English):
- How do you feel about raising the flag of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine?
- I don't see anything wrong with that.
- Do you support the territorial integrity of Ukraine within the boundaries defined in 1991 after the declaration of independence of Ukraine?
- Not anymore.
- Why?
- I believe that in 1991 a mistake was made, the crime of separatism. It is necessary to restore the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics within its former borders.
- So you think that Ukraine should be part of the Russian Federation, did I understand you correctly?
- Perhaps [it should be] part of the Russian Federation, perhaps of the Soviet Union, perhaps of the Russian Empire, we will see how it goes.
- How do you feel about and do you support the annexation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea by the Russian Federation?
- I think that [Russia] did the right thing, because the people of Crimea had to be saved.
- From whom?
- From reprisals by the Maidan authorities.
- How do you feel about and do you support the creation and activities of terrorist organizations Luhansk People's Republic and Donetsk People's Republic?
- I think that it was self-defense of the inhabitants of Donbass.
- Self-defense from whom?
- From the Maidan authorities and groups of right-wing radicals.
- Do you consider the Russian Federation an aggressor state, please explain your answer?
- In relation to the current government and its supporters, this is indeed aggression.
- Well, as a resident of the city of Khmelnitsky, which is systematically attacked by missiles, how do you feel about Russian aggression?
- I'm ready to endure it even if a rocket hits my house. I will stand by my pro-Russian views.
https://youtu.be/NFlGitCVwJE But it turned out to be an official video posted by the SSU on its Telegram channel as evidence of the criminal activities of this person:
In the Khmelnitsky region, the SSU exposed a supporter of Shariy for calling to support the occupiers.
The security service detained another henchman of the Russian invaders as a result of investigative and operational actions in the Khmelnitsky region.
The perpetrator turned out to be a local resident, who called himself a representative of the pro-Kremlin movement "people's power".
According to the investigation, he disseminated mass propaganda on the Internet in support of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and justified the crimes of the ruscists.
In addition, he called for the physical destruction of Ukrainian citizens and the seizure of local authorities.
Instead of the military-civilian administrations of the region, he proposed the formation of pseudo-state institutions controlled by Moscow.
To disperse destructive content, the agitator created dozens of pro-Russian communities and pages on social networks.
He used the YouTube channel of the enemy propagandist Shariy, whom the Security Service reported as suspected of high treason, as the primary source of content for Internet resources/
By such actions, the instigator tried to undermine the internal political situation in the region and thereby helped the aggressor in the war against Ukraine.
In the event of the capture of the region, he planned to get a “position” in the local occupation administration from the Russian invaders.
Based on the collected evidence, the SSU investigators informed the defendant about the suspicion under four articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
▪️ Part 3 Art. 109 (Actions aimed at forcibly changing the constitutional order or seizing state power);
▪️ part 1 and part 6 of Art. 111-1 (Collaboration activity);
▪️ Part 1 Art. 161 (Violation of the equality of citizens depending on their race, nationality, regional affiliation, religious beliefs, disability and other characteristics);
▪️ Part 3 Art. 436-2 (Justification, recognition of the lawful armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).
The perpetrator was given a preventive measure in the form of detention without the right to bail.
Investigative and operational actions were carried out by employees of the SSU of the Khmelnytsky region under the procedural leadership of the regional prosecutor's office.

https://t.me/SSUkr/6588 In the video of the interrogation presented by the SSU, there is no evidence of the ACTIVITIES of this person. Only personal views. If there was the ACTIVITY, then it would be reasonable to ask questions like:
- For what purpose did you post such and such material at so and so?
- Do you admit that here and there you called for "the physical destruction of Ukrainian citizens and the seizure of local authorities"?
And so on. But none of this is in the video. Which leads to suspicion that the accusation under 4 articles of the Criminal Code is spinned out of thin air.
In addition to the mentioned video, the same SSU report contains 5 photos of his personal correspondence on his smartphone:
1. From 02/24/22:
- Hi, how are you doing now? Heard that the conversations are ending?
- Do not know yet
- I am deleting everything related to politics from my computer and I want to unsubscribe from all the groups. It is very unsafe now.
- Why?
- The Constitution did not work very well before, and now, in war time, even less so. The SSU will closely monitoring any activity now.
2. From 27.02.22 19:24:
- They don't do it consciously, but by mistake. The consequence of the fact that the weapons are in the hands of inexperienced and untraned people.
All prisoners who had at least some combat experience were released from prisons, on the condition that they go to war.
The Russian army and the troops of the DPR/LPR are advancing further and further. Аrmed forces of Ukraine and volunteer battalions in the Donbass will soon find themselves in the biggest cauldron in the history of Ukraine.
3. From 27.02.22 19:45:
- ... European, which is almost the same thing.
- You are biased by Russia
- Not at all, it’s just that I have the Russian soul, and I can’t help but rejoice that the Nazis will soon go to hell.
I believe that Khmelnytsky will also be cleaned up soon, and I will get back the property seized by the SSU.
- You've gone completely nuts.
4. From 03.03.22:
- And what do they write?
- Everything testifies to the success of Russia. The most combat-ready parts of the Nazis are surrounded in Kharkov and Mariupol.
Crimea supplies Kherson region with humanitarian aid. It turns out they are not vindictive. And the Ukrainians kept Crimea in a blockade for 8 years.
5. From "today", i.e. mid-January 2023:
I'm Russian and I'm not ashamed of it. The Russian man has never been a slave and never will be. Now Great Rus' has finally begun to rise from its knees and resist the dominance of the Americans and other Anglo-Saxons. It is a pity that many Ukrainians, brainwashed and duped by nationalist propaganda, do not understand this and are fighting on the side of our Western enemies. I don't know any ruscists. We were and always will be one people and I will never fight against our own people! And I'm not going anywhere, because I live on Russian soil! You can write whatever you want, but I love you and will love you.
So, no evidence of anti-government activities in the smartphone either. Like - take a picture of a military facility and send it to such and such.
On the contrary, this correspondence shows that already on February 24, 22, this person deletes from his devices everything he wrote earlier that was related to politics. That is, from that day on, he does not conduct any public political activity, and deletes everything he wrote earlier, in the pre-war period, which now, after the start of the hot phase of hostilities, can be interpreted by the SSU as anti-state activities and propaganda.
Yes, he holds pro-Russian views and expresses these views in personal correspondence with his acquaintances, but not publicly. Yes, he does not hide his views during interrogation by SSU investigator.
But he has not been conducting any public political activity, any propaganda since 24/02/22. In any case, there is no evidence of ACTIVITY, of campaigning in the materials submitted by the SSU.
And now he has been in the SSU prison for two months. And he will be lucky if he lives to see the court.
For some reason, this man’s story spoke to me and I felt that I could not pass by without trying to help him.
I started looking for information about him online.
I found out that his name is Dmitry Shimko, he lives in Khmelnitsky, he is 31 years old.
At the same time, the entire Internet is full of another Dmitry Shimko - a crook who calls himself a numerologist and astrotypologist.
Perhaps that is why, in order to distinguish himself from the scammer, Dmitry took the pseudonym Trigonometron. Using this pseudonym, Dmitry is very easy to find online:

This is where the biography ends.
Since about 2020, Dmitry has been involved in the activities of an organization called "Khmelnytsky for Truth, Freedom and Justice." It is, as it were, a parallel (self-proclaimed) city council of Khmelnitsky - an organization of concerned city residents who wanted to fight for justice, against the illegal development of the city and similar things. When the organization began to gain strength and unite with similar organizations in other cities of Ukraine, the SSU began to persecute it, conduct searches, and seize computers. Dmitry was just a system administrator and his computers were seized. Most likely the SSU took note of him then.
This organization has a YouTube channel:
http://www.youtube.com/@user-kw2yp6fb5c We know what happened next - February 24, 2022, hostilities, arrest in January 2023, pre-trial detention center of the SSU.
Dmitry has a YouTube channel:
http://www.youtube.com/@user-lk8re8zx7hOn the channel, among other things, videos on history and politics..
As well as Dmitry's songs:
- Flight to Earth
- Claudia Berezhnaya - Roses outside the window
- Alexander Kazantsev (Sotnik) - Winter
The song "Roses outside the window" is very beautiful.
He himself described the idea of this song as follows: "The song of a woman yearning for her beloved, who is no longer among the living."
Now, after the arrest by the SSU, when Dmitry's life hangs on a thread and it is generally unknown whether he is still alive, the song sounds especially poignant and tragic.
I overlaid a new video sequence on the original clip of the song, from photos of Dmitry and a video from the SSU, and this is how it turned out:
