The most heartfelt letter I've ever written...
A request for the reputable and extraordinary Decemberists from a bashful yet diehard fan... Words can not express the elation that overcame me upon seeing that you, one of my favourite bands of all time were going on tour. However, I'm afraid to say, that my elation was matched by distress when I discovered that during this surely epic and mind boggling adventure, you have left a day in between your shows in Arizona and Texas. I, being one of your most terribly diehard fans, was dismayed to see that New Mexico was left out of the lucky bunch of visited states. I would like to humbly request that you consider stopping by Albuquerque during that day, and I hope that isn't too much trouble to be impossible. I'm sure that you will be absolutely charmed by the hospitality of the 505, and it will be a stop well chosen. I could help do any booking or anything that would be necessary to see one of the most intelligent and talented bands I've ever heard.
The new album is incredible. I hope to see you sometime.
