Day 9 ~~ 30 days of fandom meme
I almost missed today ... I havent been this constant in a meme in .... ever .. good thing I'm still at it ^^
Day 08: The most believable relationship?
Tomoya and Nagisa
These questions are getting harder and harder to answer, considering that I am focusing on anime fandoms for this meme, its hard to come up with a believable pairing. But I guess I'll go to the pairing that I choose earlier in the meme that I said was from one of the most realistic animes out there ...except for the Ghost girl and the last episode where they rewound time but you get my point
Tomoya and Nagisa started out as friends, Tomoya wasn't the best friend that is always there to cheer her up, he often was lazy and carefree but he always seemed to carry a soft spot for Nagisa, one that was not evident right away but as the show progressed you can slowly see them coming together without those awkward hentai moments that are in animes where at the end the guy confesses to the girl and thats it, the audience already knows its going to happen. They did have an awkward moment with Nagisa's dad where he tricked Nagisa into answering Yes to the Question "That made you fall more in love with him huh?" It was just plain adorable.
After highschool, they were married. Nagisa supported Tomoya's decision about his father like a wife should without pestering him to ment the relationship, although we can see that she really wanted her husband to. After she got pregnant and her life was in danger while giving birth we can see how much it pained both of them while they kept being strong for one another, supporting each other through that time. Finally the birth of their daughter came and Nagisa life faded; Like any guy from the real world, Tomoya collapsed in a heap of tears and fell into depression. It's a natural reaction and its not over the top or dramatic and that is what makes his couple so realistic, it maintains the balance between anime/supernatural and the real world
Plus not to mention the last episode where he wanted to get her back but hesistated because he knew that he was the reason behind her dying, that if he hadnt married her and got her pregnant she would have lived. But as he saw her walk away he couldnt hold the impulse anymore and rushed to her side, hugging her tightly to him. Nagisa in turn, hugged back saying that she was glad he called her because her happiness lies with meeting him.
Darcy and Elizabeth
If I wasnt focused a lot of anime for this meme i would have gone with Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet. Their relationship is one the most real relationships I have ever seen. I can easily see this going through in real life rather than the fictional world of a book.
