First off, I love the livejournal Halloween decorations. It makes me smile.

Second off, it's four in the morning and I have to squeeze out another page and a half on my paper. I'm not so worried about that, it's just taken me forever. I always get severely side tracked when I'm supposed to be working. However, I'm watching DS9 while attempting to write, and while this is yes, exteremely distracting, it also makes me happy. This is my second paper for english, and second time I've had to rewrite a paper after having a completely disfunctional rough draft. This is why I don't write rough drafts. I didn't even get back the edited rough draft from my teacher. I wasn't there on the day he handed them back, and when I asked for it, he said he had forgotten his folder. It doesn't make a difference, I would've been insulted by his comments anyway, screaming to no one, "but it's a ROUGH draft!" Anyway, he's an easy grader. Everyone I've asked received a 100 on the last paper. That just makes me want to spit on a blank page and hand it in. Give me an A, thank you.

In other news, I like my blonde hair...but it feels un-blonde.

I was supposed to finish reading the book we're going to write our next paper on by tomorrow. We only had the weekend to read the last 100 pages. While I could have accomplished this, I didn't. Of course, I got sick this weekend, and when I attempted to do homework yesterday, my throbbing headache made my eyes cross. And today, I had work (as well as on Friday).

Speaking of work, I delivered a 400 dollar order (30 pizzas) on Friday. I had to share it with another driver because, if you didn't know, 30 pizzas don't fit into one car, not without toppling over, at least. This delivery was out of the area (Jim didn't trust the new store which was in the area to take it), and there was no way from the ticket to discern where exactly the delivery location was supposed to be. So, I had Sara call to get directions. Once the directions were got (ha) Tiffany and I left, fifteen pizzas in each car. It was up stairs. We had to carry thirty pizzas upstairs. "Well that's all fine" I thought, because 400 dollars worth of pizzas means big big tip. How much did they give us? Together? On a 400 dollar order? Fifteen dollars. We were tipped two percent together. You know...I normally don't pay too much to percentages on deliveries...but come on. Thirty pizzas upstairs? And they had the gall to look us in the eye and give us seven dollars each. We should have at least gotten forty dollars. That's only ten percent. Had it been twenty percent(the amount to which we have the RIGHT to demand as people paid per tip)we would have gotten eighty dollars together.

I attended no parties this weekend, even though I really needed a break and would have liked to have some good ol' fun. And, I would've liked to have some Halloween fun, being as I have to work on Halloween night.

After effectively distracting myself from writing for twenty minutes, I shall go back.

*** Edit 4:57 AM ***

Twenty minute later and I only have a page to go. Huzzah, huzzah.

*** Edit 5:41 AM ***

I'm finished. Four hours of sleep to look forward to. Yes, yess.
