Really, I don't think I want to go back to our world again. It's easier to stay here and avoid the war... right? There's the odd strange curse here from time to time, but... in the long run it's easier than what we've been assigned to do

I just don't have the energy for it anymore, Vash. Truly, I wish I still did but it's too hard. It's too much for me now, really. It's a losing battle we're fighting.

Perhaps but... I think they'll want to go back to our world one day and I don't think I can go with them if they do.

Either. Both. I don't know... I don't think it really matters in the end because I'm not going.

I guess not, but it'll still be easier here than back home, I know that much.

Yeah, I suppose so. We're in the middle of a war that doesn't seem to have any end in sight. I'd rather stay here then keep trying to fight a losing battle.

True. But most likely not in our lifetime.

Ah... But I just don't think I'm strong enough to make much difference. I was beaten so easily recently and it took all our forces to remove the threat. We lost a lot of lives...

If it takes so much man power to defeat the kind of enemies we have and members of our Order continue to die through my lack of strength then by pure basis of elimination we're going to fail in our mission. So... why try so hard for a losing battle?
