Ahh, I see. Honestly, I wouldn't worry like that. No-one seems to really know what Kanda's thoughts towards others are, but I'm sure he cares more than he makes out because--er... well, I just have a hunch.

I'm sure, on whatever level, he values your friendship even if he doesn't show it. I mean, he's never flat out said he hated you, right?

He does not seem to understand that that man is a danger, even though he comes after Ranmaru's time... but he is mad. And Kanda... Kanda keeps on...

I see... I think I know which man you're talking about and if I'm right the way he baits Kanda so much, and the way he keeps biting it like an idiot bothers me too.

I'm sure you've tried to explain to Kanda many times about how dangerous this person is but, is there anything you can tell me that might help?

He is the creator of a fighting style so deadly that he remains unmatched by many. Ranmaru never knew him personally, for he was born many years after this person died.

There is only one other man who bests him in battle. One named Miyamoto Musashi, his rival.

Unfortunately, unless he takes an active interest in you himself, you will learn nothing. The only person at this moment who is alive in the City who can tell you anything is Kanda himself.

Forgive this warrior for not being able to be useful.

I take it this rival of his isn't here, otherwise he most likely wouldn't be troubling Kanda so much.

Please, don't apologise. You're being very helpful so far, I'm already learning more than I knew before, really, it's good.

I'm just not sure if there's anything that can be done. I know Kanda's restless and that's why he's being so reckless with this guy. Again, I'm sorry for how he is and that he's clearly worried you. Really though, us Exorcists don't have much to do with ourselves here. If he had something else to apply himself to here it would most likely be a different matter.
