So Yuji randomly asked me if I wanted to go to a taiko drum concert. As a lover of traditional Korean and Japanese drum performances, I obviously said "YES!!". It was pretty sweet and they had drummers actually from Japan, which was cool because I can actually say that I saw some GENUINE Japanese taiko! I would've taken pics but someone supposedly had their camera taken away when they tried to take a pic so...
Almost reminds me of seeing traditional Korean drum dance performances in Korea as a kid during the brief time I was there. I didn't even know shows like that were here in the States. Makes me wanna look for when the next show is going to be! I dig Japanese taiko but I love Korean Samgo Mu a bit more as the drums hit harder and are more intense so you feel every beat in your chest. Then again, there's more movement in Taiko so it's a bit more visually entertaining. I guess I like em both equally!
