Just stay in the car and lock the doors, and don't look at the people staring at you.

Friday night was CRAZY. I went out with a cop friend of mine on a run. It was def. an eye opener for me. Growing up in a safe don't have to lock your doors sort of area, this was an experience to say the least. So it started off as an average everyday report taking kind of evening.....

So we met at the bank at 7 and headed off to an apt complex on post rd. to see about a disturbance. It ended up being nothing serious so we went on and took a run to see about some unruly kids in a neighborhood off of 38th st. We get to the area and I swear there had to be at least 40 kids yelling and a couple of adults yelling, so he told me to wait in the car and not to look at the people looking at me. Well all of a sudden he hops in the car and we take off about 80 miles and hour driving through these people's front yards. We stop and he just jumps out and takes off after this kid that was running from him. I was freaking out! He just left me in the car sitting there haha. It was okay, he ended up not catching him so we drove around looking for him with no luck. So we do some more normal friday night things, pulling people over for one tail lights things like that. Well we see these people with no seatbelt on so we pull them over. Well the one kid had a warrant so we arrested him. That sucked for that guy it was some sort of traffic thing he didnt pay. So we waited forever for the wagon to get there, finally he arrived and took the guy and we went on our way. After that we went to get an extra battery and drove around. Well the speedway at post and 16th got robbed but we didnt think to much of it and went along our way and then we heard over the radio they think they might have caught the guy so we went and checked it out. It ended up being 3 people, 2 of which had no idea what was going on. They had taken their neighbor to go pick up his check at his job (at almost 9 at night) and the guy wanted to go to the speedway to get a pop or something and robbed the place. Well they didnt know until they all were handcuffed, the lady sat in the back of the car and I stayed with her while we were waiting and she ended up being really nice. She was so upset and I was calming her down so she could talk to the detective so I felt important. haha. After about an hour we let the lady go and went about our way. So we went to see about this drunk lady. She was funny, she kept trying to put the wrong key into this van that was her boyfriends. And not only that but she peed all over herself. We were all trying not to crack up. That was great. After that we pulled some more people over and did general cop-ish things. The best part about pulling people over was getting to shine the flashlight in the passenger side of the cars. I just pretended to be his boss and I was reviewing him. It was so fun. Anyway we went to john marshall middle school to see about this other drunk guy, who was way more intoxicated than the lady. He was wiggling all over the sidewalk just shouting sounds haha. And then he decided he was having a heart attack so we called and ambulance and the wagon. That guy was funny, he just kept shouting things. Not even real words, and then he asked the cop "when will I get out?" And the cop was like "Never, so don't worry about it." It was great. And then we pulled another guy over who had a warrant so we arrested him. That was so fun. I loved arresting the people. And then the last thing we did was pretty boring. We went to this nasty apartment that someone had broken into. It was a MESS and the sad thing was the robber didnt make the mess. That was just her apt, and she had two kids and she was my age! And then around 3:30 I got home. I was so tired haha.

I havent really been up to anything but that. I need to go grocery shopping but I don't want to. haha. And I did my laundry today, whoa. That was about it :)
Hope all is well with you fine folk.
