Tents as Fashion...

Attention Marketing Directors for H&M,

I would greatly appreciate it if you would please stop using highly overrated "celebs" to put on your fall trend index. I'll give you points for using Twiggy, Audrey and Reese Witherspoon (and, fine, even my hometown girl Jessica Alba), but you get severe negative points for using the Olsen twins, Scarlett Johansson, and The Jaw (and all wearing something UGLY, no less... Shapeless clothes are coming into style? Is this the fault of The Jaw?).

no love,

Me

To make this post a little more pertinent to this community, I have to say that my dislike for The Jaw is starting to grow even more (and no one thought it was possible)... Because this is just another in several "WTF"s I've had over the past couple of weeks.

She's been photographed out on the town wearing some of the ugliest clothes I've seen in a good long while, and the disturbing part is that it's now being highlighted by American fashion mags (I can't speak for any other parts of the world) as a type of "new, hot look."

Are my fellow citizens really as stupid as the rest of the world the world thinks that we are? FOR GOODNESS SAKE, she's wearing a mumu/duster and we're hail that as fashion just because Shiteley's wearing it? It's not even some Twiggy high-waist dress... it's a FLORAL PRINT CIRCUS TENT!!!! And then, on the H&M website, she's wearing another very shapeless outfit that looks a bit like a covering for luggage.

This goes beyond absurd... I'd be going "WTF" even if it wasn't HER that was wearing it... But all of this seems to suggest that this crap is turning into a fashion trend solely because it is The Jaw that is introducing it into the world's style lexicon.

Someone shoot me with a tranquilizer dart and wake me up when this trend passes... please.

A CIRCUS TENT-- honestly!
