Summary: The villain makes his dramatic appearance, and James is sorely irritated.
The chain lifted away from Jacques’ knee, leaving him to gaze bemusedly at the other man. Well, the commodore was not the most understandable choice for Jack’s affections, but so far, he didn’t seem undeserving. Merely extremely confused.
