The last time I saw what people describe as a proper 'ghost', it was a fully clothed, fully solid woman in a domestic service uniform. She was carrying a tray, and stopped to look at me. She looked more shocked than I was, then she just wasn't there anymore. I don't think she was a 'ghost', rather the result of some kind of shift in time enabling us to see one another. Not scary at all (for me, anyway - she looked pretty stunned) and she seemed to be just going about her daily business.

It would have been a lot scarier if she'd been naked. I agree entirely.

It's when they start suing you for sexual harrassement you can worry. Ditto when they tell you to join a gym!
