Let's start...as we don't mean to go on.

What a ridiculous week. If you haven't seen the trailer for Hell Driver (a noble follow-up to Tokyo Gore Police and The Machine Girl), I can remedy that. Prepare yourselves for a girl with a chainsaw for an arm, and...it's almost impossible to type this without dribbling just a little bit...a car made entirely out of zombies:

Thanks! That's awfully decent of you (although their early albums are notably absent).

Speaking of the best stuff being already in the trailer. I watched Kick-Ass yesterday and I think that's also an example where watching the trailer(s) a couple of times is much better than watching the whole movie. Not to mention cheaper.

Agreed. I hesitate to include Scott Pilgrim in the same category, but... Conventional "teen" movies with artificially bolted-on coolness seem to be part of this year's general trend. *Sigh.*

I care too much about film to watch the programme these days, but past observations regarding the BBC's reduced talent pool hold true. (Graham Norton must be due for a comeback...)

Only one meerkat? I was hoping for several rows. Shitty 3G network coverage in Wales and a psychotic barmaid is your next challenge.

Hmm. Think I'll skip that challenge, thanks all the same. (And welcome back.)
