It was bad enough when Le Monde announced their treacherous, cheese-eating surrender-monkey subscription tactics earlier this week (http://www.lemonde.fr/actualite-medias/article/2010/03/23/le-monde-devient-une-marque-globale-sur-le-papier-et-le-numerique_1323279_3236.html#ens_id=1293853), but now the Murdochian insanity has spread to these little islands, too:

Presumably the only reason it's kicking off with The Times, instead of the potentially more profitable online version of the Sun newspaper, is because the latter's readers have yet to evolve the opposable thumbs required to operate a mouse.
