If it's Friday, the RSS feeds must be dead.

That's the law.

Rubber bands, bits of string, chewing gum, and unpaid volunteers, my bitches.

What a great way to run a show...

rss, lj, techie badness, blocked tubes

I just wanted to write a comment to your previous entry entitled "Groundhog Day" that says, it's Friday and they implemented a new software version here on LJ, and we all know what that means. :D

*G* This is what comes from treating LJ like an iPhone advert:

"You want to highlight a hole in the LiveJournal codebase? No problem, there's an app a tag for that." ;o)

Actually, the iPhone "app for that" ad parodies are getting better. sensaes October 23 2009, 09:37:32 UTC

They really are inviting parodies with that tagline.

The first support requests regarding the feeds are open and someone in some way involved with LJ said he will try to inform people who can do something about it. But as we know, it may still take about a week until the feeds work again.

Speaking of newly created feeds, weren't you a fan of him? ;)

It was only a matter of time before someone took Bruce Dickinson's Chemical Wedding (or Crowley as it was renamed for the U.S. audience...don't ask me why) movie just a little too seriously. ;o)

You'd think LJ might've learnt from the last codewonk balls-up, which produced exactly the same results, but clearly they've gone for the "repeat mistakes" option. *Sigh.*

I wouldn't have minded at all if I would've been off by a couple of days. Let's see if they'll be able to surprise us on the positive side by not crushing the feeds when they implement the next update.
