Paying for DVDs of films and TV programmes? How terribly quaint!

Yes, I know. The very concept almost seems painfully anachronistic in this torrent 'n' VoD era, but there are some strange old fuddy-duddies out there who actually enjoy the simple, oldschool pleasure of holding a physical, tangible version (complete with natty packaging) of a media artifact in their mitts. Although Amazon et al are soldiering on, and even prospering against the piratical odds, the pre-recession demise of Benson's World (a UK-based online/mail order retailer of heavily-discounted mainstream DVD boxsets and more 'obscure' new and archive releases) was a disappointment.

In the vaguely superstitious hope that this post won't trigger a similar fate for 'em, I'm delighted to draw your attention to Razamataz, who offer a very similar service to the late Benson's World, but with a vastly expanded catalogue:

Worth a look.
